June 7th, 2010Welcome to our new site for Illinois Genealogy! We are developing this site as a resource for history and genealogy related to the state of Illinois and its counties. Ultimately the centerpiece of this will be the pages for each county within the state and on those pages there will be a profile of the county, its history and resources related to genealogy research for that county. This is a very large project, made much larger by the fact that I’m developing this site along side several other state sites.
